TEMPLETON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTJOB DESCRIPTIONCLASS TITLE:District PsychologistDEFINITION: Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the District Psychologist, performs assessments and IEP planning for pupils, consults in direct service districts; and provides support and consultation to parents and pupils. RESPONSIBILITIES:"PAssist faculties and administrators to create an atmosphere in each school which encourages good mental health through social, emotional and intellectual growth. "PParticipate in the evaluation of special education programs on a regular basis with individual school personnel."PAct as liaison with other schools, districts and county SELPA agencies for special education purposes."PKeep up with State and Federal mandates, policies and regulations in special education, insure compliance and punctually meet necessary reporting requirements."PCoordinate with private schools concerning special education programs available."PAct as a liaison between schools and consulting psychologists and psychiatrists."PServe as a resource to school district personnel."PMonitor current programs for operational effectiveness and make recommendations for change and/or improvement."PEncourage research within the District to evaluate and improve learning and teaching methodology."PPlan and coordinate with others the inservice and orientation programs for special education. "PParticipate in regular meetings with special education staff and other interested personnel."PAssess and plan for IEPs for pupils."PMeet and confer with parents, school district personnel and other persons to resolve issues and to ensure appropriate delivery of services to students."PDevelop assessment reports and psychoeducational evaluations in accordance with Federal and State mandate and local policy. "PParticipate in decisions regarding student program placement, goals and objectives. "PProvide support and consultations to parents and pupils as assigned."PServe on the Management Team."PServe on crisis intervention teams, as assigned. "PMaintain appropriate confidentiality. "PAssume other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:"PGeneral needs and behavior of children."PModern psychological principles, processes and techniques.Ability to:"PCommunicate in writing for the purposes of composing the required reports and other correspondence. "PCommunicate orally sufficient to express ideas, thoughts, and instructions clearly to clients, community and staff."PConduct potentially volatile parent, student and staff conferences."PHandle stressful situations involving emotional students, staff and parents."PManage and prioritize multiple activities."PCollaborate effectively in inter- and intra- agency levels. "PCoordinate work and control assignments."PWork independently, to make sound decisions, and to evaluate the results of those decisions."PFollow laws, rules, regulations and policies."PDrive a car safely. "POperate audiovideo equipment as needed. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
