Receptionist/Tech Support

We are seeking a Receptionist to add to our team! This person will be the voice of the company- answering phones, posting on social media, keeping track of data, connecting customers to our Tech Support team, providing schedule coordination and team communication assistance to our technicians. You may be asked to assist with billing, electronic filing, tidying the office, learn to provide basic tech support for certain issues, or even be asked to order tacos for weekly staff meetings.?

This position is located at our small warehouse in Paso Robles without an option for remote work at this time. It's a part-time role with full-time option for the right person. We have a flexible schedule but prefer some evening availability (5-10pm) and Saturday hours. At the least you could come into the office three days a week for eight hours or five days a week for four hours each shift. The team is small with about eight team members, so positivity and team work are essential. The company is expanding into new territory and adding new clientele which means room for growth in learning tech support or field work.


Highly Proficient in English and Spanish?

At least two years of Customer Service over the phone or Tech Support?

Experience in business social media (Facebook and Instagram)

Great written and oral communication skills for different audiences

High School Diploma?

Excellent ability to de-escalate customer complaints and provide positive support

A humble and team centered spirit

Self-driven attitude and the ability to work with limited supervision

Problem solving skills

Clear background check and credentials to work in the US


Desired Skills:

AA Degree with concentration in Business Administration or Technology

Experience with a remote supervisor

Data Entry experience in Excel and Google Docs

A prior role in scheduling or route planning with service technicians

An understanding of internet or data systems

A strong sense of confidentiality and an even keel

Valid driver's license

Has a great sense of humor and likes tacos!

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
